The breakfast menu at McDonald's has lost a few fan favourites.
McDonald's revealed the bad news on their social media, that the breakfast bagels and wraps are disappearing from the menu.
They wrote: Bad news: Bagels and Breakfast Wraps are officially gone from the menu. Good news: You can get a McMuffin for 99p today via the McDonald’s App…
"…you’re still thinking about the bad news, aren't you?", they joked.
Underneath they posted an infographic explaining the news.
In a spoof of celeb break-up posts they elaborated: "It is with love and deep respect for one another that we announce we are parting ways with the breakfast bagels and breakfast wraps."
"Despite speculation and following a trial separation period, Breakfast Bagels and Breakfast Wraps will not be returning to the menu. We adore each other deeply but our love for the iconic McMuffin was simply too hard to ignore."
"We want our fans to know this is a mutual decision, to the extent that a bagel can make its own decision."
"Thank you to everyone who has supported our union. As for the rumours that there will be a new breakfast bae on the scene later this year... no comment."
"But now it's time to say 'that's a wrap'. And bagel"
"And that the McMuffin is 99p today."
Fans are furious with the decision.
"This is the actual worst decision you've ever made. Sausage, egg and cheese bagels were officially the best thing on your menu," said one.
"The wraps and bagels were the only breakfast items we ate in this house," said another sadly.
Others are wondering if this is all a PR stunt.
"McDonald's... don't do this. The bagels were the best item on the menu! This is saddening to hear, and I hope this is just a PR stunt to bring back a "new and improved" bagel and wrap items."
"Heartbroken is an understatement," they signed off.
Fans of McDonald's breakfasts have been left reeling today, with the news that the chain is ditching two of its morning favourites.
The fast food giant chose social media site Instagram to break the news that bagels and breakfast wraps were being removed from its menu - and there are no plans to bring them back.
The tongue-in-cheek notice was in the style of a celebrity break-up announcement, saying: "Despite speculation and following a trial separation period, Breakfast Bagels and Breakfast Wraps will not be returning to the menu. We adore each other deeply but our love for the iconic McMuffin was simply too hard to ignore."

The post continues: "We want our fans to know this is a mutual decision, to the extent that a bagel can make its own decision.
"Thank you to everyone who has supported our union. As for the rumours that there will be a new breakfast bae on the scene later this year ... no comment.
"But it's now time to say, 'that's a wrap'. And bagel.
"And that the McMuffin is 99p today."
But the sad news was too much for some fans of the wrap and bagel, who took to Twitter to lament the demise of the much-loved duo.
Some were fuming and calling for a boycott of McDonald's, while some entered into the spirit of the announcement, saying they were disappointed that they hadn't had a chance to say goodbye.
One person said: "I didn't even get to say a proper goodbye!"
While another wrote: ""Broken my heart."
McDonald's responded to tweets by reassuring disappointed diners that: "It'll be tough but we'll get through this!" and reminding people that the breakfast McMuffins were on special offer at 99p today to compensate.
The news came just months after Greggs, one of McDonald's rivals in the breakfast to go market, announced two new vegan breakfast rolls after the success of their plant-based menu.
The Newcastle-based chain unveiled vegan versions of its bacon and sausage breakfast rolls, made using Quorn products, which are available in more than 100 stores.
Although vegetarians can tuck into an egg and cheese McMuffin in McDonald's, vegans are only able to choose between hash browns or muffin and jam if they ditch the dairy spread.
