I slept on a foam mattress for over two years, and had shoulder pain that would not go away. The kind of pain, when you pushed yourself out of bed, it would be a sharp pain. Tried new pillows, flipping the mattress to the firm side, no matter what I did my shoulder pain would never go away. I decided to go back to a normal box spring, as water and air beds are overpriced for being a bladder. I settled on Beautyrest both from reviews online and actually trying them in the store. I tried all the variations of the World Class Recharge mattresses that were available in various superstores, figuring the difference would be minimal. The naming actually reminds me of the buying TV's in the 90's where the big superstores had the manufacture give them a unique name so the superstore would not have to price match. Almost spent near $2000 for a mattress that Wayfair was selling for under a $1000. In the end, its been two months, the mattress is super comfortable, and my shoulder has healed up, where it is no longer painful to push myself out of bed. The first month was touch and go, as the mattress was really firm, but it has broken in, and I am happy. Sometimes on the weekends I am so relaxed I do not want to wake up.. William. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this bed for a little over 2 weeks and I have to say that this is the best bed I have ever owned!! The comfort is truly innovative and impeccable. It contours to your individual body but yet you don't sink in uncomfortably. It is exactly what is described a medium firmness which is perfect for me & my fiancé who also adores this bed. The feel of the fabric is soft to the touch. Another great feature I love is it has the ability to not disturb the other person sleeping while tossing & turning or getting on or off the bed. Almost like a shock absorber. Most of the time I can barely feel my partner getting out of the bed. Which is fantastic because he leaves for work super early and it allows me to have an a longer undisturbed sleep! I feel so refreshed and well rested on this bed. Only con is that it's not your standard size bed its thicker which doesn't fit normal sized sheets. But honestly that's not even really a con for me because the thicker width is added comfort I adore. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought my previous bed was comfortable but I honestly didn't know comfortable until I got this bed! It has been an absolute game changer, I am getting the best sleep i've ever gotten and it really is life changing. When you lay down on it, it just forms to your body, it's like sleeping on a cloud. I am one that tends to toss and turn at night and I usually can't get comfortable on my back because I have a bad back but I can now. In fact every single position is comfortable on this bed. It's a bit taller than my previous bed which is actually really nice as I am tall so just sitting on the edge of the bed is more comfortable. The mattress itself is very pretty, not like you see it until you're cleaning your sheets or anything plus moving it was quite easy with the handles on the sides. If you are thinking of buying this bed do yourself a favor in just do it, it is definitely worth the money plus some, a good nights sleep is priceless!. erinanne84. This review is for the Serta Perfect Sleeper 14" Ultra Plush Hybrid Mattress. I noticed that a lot of reviews here mentioned different names. I am a side/back sleeper. I'd say probably about 50/50. So I need something soft but supportive. I currently own a hybrid pillow top mattress similar to this from the other 5 letter big brand that starts with an S. Which cost me double what I paid for this Serta and was ok at first, but lately has become very uncomfortable for some unknown reason despite the fact that the mattress is in like new condition, has no sags and is about 2 years old. I did a LOT of research while trying to find a good affordable mattress. This mattress has great reviews all across the board and mattress experts have great things to say about it so I had big hopes and was looking forward to a great night of sleep. I placed my order and the estimated delivery date was 2+ weeks out. However, it arrived about a week earlier. Wayfair uses a 3rd party delivery service that was great. It got delivered to my door thanks to COVID19 and I, 5'4" had to drag this beast to the bedroom all by myself. It fit perfectly on my existing platform bed. No smaller, no bigger. Just right. I could tell as soon as I laid on it that is was much firmer than I expected. I also noticed that tag says "Plush", not Ultra Plush. I called Wayfair worried that I might have received the wrong mattress and sent a picture of the tag as proof. I decided to give it a few days and see how I liked the mattress. After researching, I realized Serta has no Ultra Plush, so that's misleading advertising right there. If you go to their website you'll see. See attached picture. As the days passed the mattress has gotten a little softer. As recommend by experts, I crawl on top of the mattress whenever I remember to help "break it in". Although the mattress has become softer, I have yet to have a great night of sleep. More than likely this mattress is going back. I keep waking up with a sore back and in pain. Motion transfer is great. The mattress also has great support on the lower back area, which is amazing. It's the rest of my back that hurts. I really wanted to love this mattress but is not working for me. I decided to purchase my next mattress from Wayfair because of the 100 night sleep trial. Most places that offer this kind of trial period have hefty fees, main reason I kept the current mattress. Also Wayfair has great customer service. . Irene. What are the different levels of Beautyrest mattresses?The Beautyrest collections have a lot of different mattresses to offer. They're currently available in three different tiers, dubbed the Black, Silver, and Platinum collections. Within each collection is a group of models, each featuring multiple comfort levels.
Does the Beautyrest Recharge mattress have springs?this means they have no give (as does a true box spring) So, you need a foundation or platform bed with proper support. Foundations are purely cosmetic to elevate the mattress, most often used with traditional headboard/footboard furniture. Platform beds have slats.
