DON’T LET SUMMER SLIP AWAY – we are now offering a 15% discount throughout August of 2022 for any new reservations made. No promo code needed – just go to the Check Availability link and book in August for the discounted rate.

From the moment you arrive at Sheridan House Inn, the surrounding pine forest by day or dark Arizona night sky begins to take away the stresses of travel, crowds, jobs, or of life.  We offer upscale comfort in the pines – a world away, but yet close to some of earth’s greatest treasures.  Located in Williams, AZ, our secluded and romantic bed and breakfast is at an elevation of 7,000 feet in the mountains of Northern Arizona, a true oasis of forests and lakes, just a few blocks away from Historic Route 66.

This is a perfect location to stay awhile, taking day trips to see the majesty of the Grand Canyon or the glorious red rock formations surrounding Sedona, both about an hour away. Excursions can also be planned to ski, golf, taste local wines, tour iconic slot canyons, hike in the mountains, picnic by lakes in the Coconino or Kaibab National Forests, or explore various national monuments.  Everyone needs to take a drive down Historic Route 66, and explore our town of Williams, which is steeped in nostalgia.

While we know your vacation time is precious, and you want to see as many places as possible, we encourage you to stay more than a night, as many of our guests wish they had done. A complimentary bottle of wine will be awaiting you on your getaway of 2 or more nights when you book direct on this website or by phone. Please indicate in the “special requests” section whether you prefer red, white or sparkling cider when booking your multi-night stay. Our best terms and conditions are offered by booking directly from this website.

While there is much to see or do, it is the inn itself that draws people in and brings them back.  The 8 unique rooms for 2 adults allow guests to indulge themselves with luxurious linens, upscale amenities and contemporary decor, while soaking in the secluded views of the pine and aspen trees which grace the property.  All rooms have private bathrooms, most having been recently upgraded with granite vanities and walk-in rain showers. Each morning, guests awaken to a cooked-to-order breakfast. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the dining room, on the open deck with the hummingbirds when the weather allows, or from the comfort of bed. We provide a “to-go breakfast” for those who must be on the road early.  We have become known as a “foodie favorite” because of the choices we give guests; we believe breakfast is more than a meal, it is an experience. The menus change daily and seasonally, but every day you’ll be treated to a variation of the “Sheridan Puff,” which melts in your mouth and has become the signature item of our breakfast service. After a day of traveling or sightseeing, the last thing anyone wants to do is have to go out again and find a place to eat. You don’t have to anymore as we offer our “Stay In the Inn” Dinners 4 nights a week and our Gourmet Dinner Art-Cuterie Board, too pretty to be just a charcuterie board, every night.

Because of the child-free environment, the solitude of the forest, and the luxurious rooms, Sheridan House Inn can be a perfect setting for romance, rekindling a relationship, or for a special occasion for the two of you.  It is our sincere desire that couples leave Sheridan House Inn better than when they arrived, and we will do all we can to make your visit very special for the two of you.  You can be as social as you wish or spend the entire time alone with someone you love. We love special occasions – we make a big deal of them – so please let us know if your time here is for a honeymoon, anniversary, proposal, birthday, babymoon or other special reason.

Please note that we do not accommodate children under age 16, each room has a maximum occupancy of 2, and we do not accommodate pets.  As a small property, we do have restrictions with regard to check-in times. Full details can be found on our Policies page.
