How to Make Sausage Gravy Breakfast Skillet

This casserole is super easy to make. Start with cooking some sausage. Remove the sausage from the skillet and add hash browns. Cook the hash browns until they start to turn golden brown. Add the sausage back to the skillet. Top with shredded cheese. Whisk together gravy mix, water, and eggs. Pour the gravy mixture over the sausage. Pop the skillet in the oven and bake.

  • Don’t have a skillet? You can make this casserole in a baking dish instead.
  • I used a roll of Jimmy Dean Sausage. You can use any flavor or any brand of breakfast sausage you prefer.

  • You can assemble the casserole in advance and refrigerate or freeze for later.
  • To bake the casserole after freezing, thaw completely and bake as directed.
