We liked EVERYTHING about this beautiful property. Danii and her husband have created a beautiful home here. Everything is up to date and totally modern on the inside while keeping (and enhancing) all of the charm on the outside of this former stable house. The entire property is beautiful as are the surroundings. This is very convenient if you want to day trip into Edinburgh OR get to the airport easily. We booked our stay to be close to the Airport, but this was so much more. Ratho and its surroundings were very nice and the location is peaceful and quiet (never heard a plane). We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return some day. PS: Loved the modern bathroom and shower. And especially the high end soaps and shampoo from Aesop.com.
