Step 1:
1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).

2. Press the SETUP button until the “OIL LIFE XXX% HOLD RESET = NEW" displays.

Step 3:
3. Press and hold the RESET button for two seconds and release to reset the oil life to 100% and "OIL LIFE SET TO 100%" is displayed.

4. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Im trying to reset my oil change light cause we just got an oil change i put the key in the ignition n now where do i find this setup button im supposed to push

It is behind the steering wheel on the left side of the dash, next to the headlight switch

It was a while ago you posted this, but you have to clear the message with the rest button first. If you aren't on the mileage/trip screen you have to get there first

Thank you for the help, worked awesome! Used this on the 2008 Escape and pretty sure it works the same way as the 2010, but don't have it here. If you watch the video, unless the 2007 is very different they should be there on all the years listed, the buttons are on the lower dash to the left of the steering wheel, next to the headlight switch. All three are present on the 2008.

I have a 2007 Ford escape I also do not have a reset button it's amazing how many of these tutorials or instructions on different sites all say reset button or trip reset none of them work frustrating.

My 2007 ford escape xlt doesnt have a setup or info button. Also I know it's time for an oil change but no light or anything has came on.
