Utilicé esta refacción para un motor Liftmaster 4000E-1/2 HP que tenía un engrane de plástico muy desgastado y que por lo tanto ya no transmitía el movimiento a la cadena. La refacción quedó bastante bien. Ya que la flecha del motor tiene ciertos grabados con el número de serie, se batalló un poco para que entrara bien en el nuevo cojinete y collarín. Para esto recomiendo utilizar una lima para limar las asperezas en el aro interior del cojinete. Aparte de eso todo funcionó bien. El conjunto sí viene con el lubricante a base de litio recomendado. Éste debe aplicarse a los engranes de plástico generosamente antes de poner el motor otra vez en funcionamiento. Show Para poner esta refacción en general no se necesita remover todo el motor de su lugar, sólo se necesita aflojar la cadena para quitarla, y remover las tapas del motor para tener acceso a los componentes internos. Sin embargo, si su instalación es complicada, sí le recomiendo quitar todo el motor para no trabajar parado en una escalera. Si quita todo el motor, recuerde marcar la cadena, marcar su reja, y los controles de avance de la cadena, para saber la posición correcta en que debe quedar instalado todo de nuevo.
