Nascar starting grid for todays race

Nascar starting grid for todays race

The NASCAR Cup Series playoffs begin at Darlington, where the bouncing off the walls and 500-mile race length will pale in comparison to last week's chaotic race at Daytona.

Austin Dillon snatched the final playoff spot with a win at Daytona on Sunday, pushing Martin Truex Jr. outside the top 16.

Darlington will be an entirely different race in an entirely different atmosphere, this being the first of three playoff races in the Round of 16.
