A note to Jehovah’s Witness folks

My wife and I get a lot of Jehovah’s witness people at our house. My wife being from the Philippines has been targeted by this group. We are Christian, we read scripture and follow Christ.
I have talked to many Jehovah’s witness. I have first hand studies and dealt with them. I also know the false teachings and inability to study scripture as truth. I know the history of the changing of scripture by them. I point to the Greek and Aramaic / Hebrew text to show the truth. If need be I would go beyond the Strong’s, to the kittle, BDAG, HALOT, and more to show the meaning of texts.
I know to well the are focused on a few verses and are taught, or programmed to recite them when they have no clear answer.
Believe me, I always talk to them kindly and with love...but truth and light. I have offered to do in-depth bible studies with them. But they always refuse. They say they have no time. The same answer I get from unbelievers that at the time are not willing to accept Christ at that time.
I pray any Jehovah’s witness will open their hearts and read scripture as the bereans did.
Nowhere in scripture does it say Jesus was Michael.. do not worship angels please. Saying you follow Jesus doesn’t mean you do follow Jesus unless the name is paired with who is actually is. I pray you all find the true (one) God and Lord. One God in essence and three persons of God. I trinity of absolute uniqueness and Glory. One absolutely unique and different then anything we have ever come face to face with.
I suggest you read. This book and study it with scripture to find truth, a-art from the teachings of the watchtower society. Be a seeker of truth.

For those who claim lies

I noticed you don't say what the lies are. It takes reading the book to come up with as you say lies.
When high-level defector Raymond Franz, in his book Crisis of Conscience, finally revealed the identity of the translators—Nathan Knorr, Frederick Franz, Albert Schroeder, George Gangas, and Milton Henschel7—it quickly became apparent that the committee was unqualified for the task. To translate the New World Translation. None of the scholars knew Greek, Hebrew or had anyone there that did to translate the Original manuscripts.
I pray you find the truth of a God's Word.
I feel Ron Rhodes did his homework in writing this book, please don't attack him unless you have something substantial to come back with.

The blessed trinity is the way to everlasting life.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Is Jehovah Witness based on the Bible?

Jehovah's Witnesses base all of their beliefs on the Bible, as interpreted by the Governing Body. They use the terms Hebrew and Christian Greek Scriptures rather than Old and New Testament to avoid implication that the Old Testament is outdated or inferior.

How accurate is the Jehovah Witness Bible?

In October 1996, James Parkinson stated, "the Jehovah's Witnesses' New World Translation (NWT, 1950) offers a relatively accurate translation from a different theological perspective. Like Rotherham, though, it is often not smooth reading."

What's the point of Jehovah's Witnesses?

Witnesses hold a number of traditional Christian views but also many that are unique to them. They affirm that God—Jehovah—is the most high. Jesus Christ is God's agent, through whom sinful humans can be reconciled to God. The Holy Spirit is the name of God's active force in the world.

What scriptures do Jehovah's Witnesses use?

The Witnesses have their own translation of the Bible - the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. They refer to the 'New Testament' as the Christian Greek Scriptures, and they call the 'Old Testament' the Hebrew Scriptures.
