Why Is My RV propane gas detector beeping?

If your RV CO/LP alarm is measuring low voltage (usually between 8 and 9 volts), then the alarm will typically beep or flash until the voltage is increased. You likely need to recharge or replace your batteries.

Why does my RV propane detector keep going off?

As sensitive as they are, RV propane alarms can go off for many reasons. So, why is your RV propane alarm going off randomly? Many sprays such as cooking spray, Febreze, sunscreen, bug spray, and cleaners can all set off your alarm.

How do I turn off my RV CO and propane alarm?

Immediately turn off all propane appliances and gas valve at the propane tanks. Open doors and windows to properly ventilate the RV. Check for any gas leaks and contact a qualified RV technician to diagnose possible propane leaks. The alarm may be silenced for 5 minutes by pressing the Silence/Test button.

Why Is My RV carbon monoxide detector beeping?

This consistent beeping sound (and oftentimes accompanying flashing light) typically signals that there is carbon monoxide present above minimum levels.
