first and foremost i have used this stove for over the past year and some change. there are a few design flaws and this makes it terrible period. 1. the door refuses to stay shut when double door is latched. used to when it was brand new and doesn't anymore. 2 warming drawer 100% useless would been better for storage aka reason why they made a new model. 3 oven lock design is complete garbage i have broke 3 micro switches that tells the computer when the door is completely unlatched or locked.
the cam design of it literally is designed to brake the micro switch. also what i think is funny is that this complete setup has been discontinued and cannot get a replacement. so safety feature fails well this is a breaker for some people and well i will not get the new version. their 5.9cu. ft Electric Range with Flex Duo. The multiple size cooking rings on the ceramic top surface make it easy to cook a large meal and the additional warming area is great for keeping a dish hot until dinner time. The dual door design allows you to cook two separate dishes are completely different temperatures. Before this range, I needed to stagger my cook times and temperatures to accommodate. With this range, I can plan to slow cook a roast or other large item in the bottom section
and use the convection feature to bake crisp cookies in the top. Both top and bottom have their own timer and temperature control. Because this range is wifi enabled, I can control and monitor cook times or turn on the over with the use of Samsung's Smart Things application. My kids love using just the top convection portion of the oven to reheat leftovers or bake cookies. Because the top section is smaller, its quick to heat up and is more energy efficient. One thing to keep in mind is how
quickly and evenly the convection works in this appliance. It will take a little time to adjust your cooking times to accommodate. If larger items are being cooked, the divider is easily removed. The one handle design with a latch to open just the top is a well-made. This appliance is well made and a pleasure to use. I can't wait for the holiday season to really put this appliance to the test. It took over an hour to bake a pie that should have been done in 45 min. Pie crust would not brown. I tried
to bake home made pizza twice and both times the bottom of the pizza was raw and the top dried out. The glass top is very difficult to clean. Marks very easily. Scratches have occurred in 2 places already and I am very careful when I cook. I would not recommend this stove to anyone. I am going to try to return it and purchase something else. easily. the oven door doesnt close all the way when it is heated up. at least the light comes on to tell you that you arent baking anymore with heat. if i had to do it again i would have bought 2 cheaper ranges for 2 ovens and still would have been ahead of the game with more burners. So for all the bad reviews here are some helpful hints. 1. To keep the top from scratching do not slide your pans. I didn't do that on
my old stove not because I was trying to keep it looking good because of spills sliding pans around is never a good idea. 2. Some of the ovens are off a bit with the temp which is not a big deal. I had the same problem a tech was sent out and was fixed within a few seconds. These appliances do come with a warranty. After it was fixed it worked like a charm. 3. As for the racks tipping the food out onto the floor I have not had that problem. I have cooked breads, roasts, cakes and pies and as
long as the racks are used as directed there has not been any issues with my racks doing that. 4. The range top temps do take a bit of getting used to if you are coming from an older range. My old one was a good 15 years old and when trying to cook on my new one the first few times I noticed that it does get hotter then the old one does so you will have to learn how to scale things again. Watch your food while cooking. Don't think just because you used 4-5 on your old stove you can do it on this
one. The temp is different so think of it as learning to cook again but this time it won't take you as long. The only real con I have about this range is my cats seem to enjoy it a little too much. I wake up every morning with little paw prints on the stove top. Easy enough to clean. I keep a bottle of Cerama Bryte just above the stove so it is always close by. Great product for this stove and makes it all nice and shiny again. I have not had any issues at all with stains although the first time
I used it was a little worried about some grease that got on the top but it came off pretty easily. Over all this stove is more then what I expected. I adore the bread proof and since I make home made bread at least 2-3 times a week I was so happy to see that the seal is perfect. Not once did I have to open the door to spray my bread. It comes out perfect every time. I have to say another feature that I just love is the alarm when your oven reaches the temp that you want. It is nice not to have
to go in there and guess if it has been on long enough to reach that perfect 350 for bread!
