One offshore tarot decks and companion book , great for Viking followers , heathens and beginning tarot readers. I had the deck for years and passed it on to a friend to help them read tarot.

It would have gotten 5 stars for the artwork alone, it's absolutely gorgeous. The cards themselves clearly depict their meanings and give a nice glimpse into early Norse life, especially the minor arcana. The artistic detail and earthy colors are wonderful. I couldn't give it 5 stars because of the accompanying book. A few parts of it conflict with the lore and sagas, which could be seen as inaccurate or misleading to someone not familiar with

inaccurate or misleading to someone not familiar with the mythology. The interpretations the book offered for the cards and why certain deities were chosen for them was very interesting and seemed well thought out. When I do readings, it is my preferred deck. ~ Cheers

I was ecstatic when I scored it. and then it sat in my collection, barely touched. It just never spoke to me & I kind of gathered that if my gods had aught to say to me, they'd do so via the Runes or even more directly. But the deck is lovely...yet is not one I mourn as I do so many others. Of course this deck was in my collection. The art & symbolism is drawn from Nordic myth, and I was Asa/Vanatru.
