Take-n-Play Thomas trains are the die-cast railway range featuring Thomas the Tank Engine and his railroad friends produced by Fisher-Price beginning in 2010. These toys are high quality die-cast metal and are non-motorized which means they are free-wheeling. Each of the engines and cars typically has magnetic couplers on both ends allowing for connecting other trains for added fun.
The Thomas Take-n-Play trains suggested for children ages 3 and up. These are completely compatible with if not identical to the former Take Along series of die-cast trains produced by LC or Learning Curve which was discontinued in 2009 thus the advent of the Take-n-Play line of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends.
