NOTE: Only domestic (U.S.) banks accounts may be added for transfer.

Verify an External Account

After you have “added an account,” UNIFY will generate two "micro" deposits and send them to your external account. This typically takes 5 business days or less. Micro deposits are random deposits in amounts less than $1. Once you have received these two micro deposits in your external account, make note of both amounts as you will need them for verification.

If the micro deposits do not appear in your account within 7 business days, contact the other financial institution to verify that you are using the correct routing number, as some institutions do not use a single number for all account types.

To verify an External Account:

  1. In the Navigation menu, select Transfers & Payments > Verify External Account. The Account Verification page appears.
  2. Select the account that you want to verify.
    1. Note: If you have previously added more than one account, you will need to select the correct account to confirm the deposits.
  3. In the Verify Deposit Amounts area, enter the amounts of the two deposits that we made in the external account.
  4. Select Continue.
