Shopper’s Card fees* start at $3 for checks up to $2,000, and $5.50 for anything between $2,000.01 and $5,000. Starter, personal or third party checks are not accepted. We accept many different types of ID including valid Driver’s License or State issued ID’s. Military ID, US Passport, Matricula Consular ID and Resident Alien ID’s. Pay billsWith billers covering everything from your cell phone to gas and water payments, you can pay your bill fast and easily at your local Smith’s Money Services. While posting times vary, some bills can be paid the same day. Save on fees using your Shopper’s Card.
Card cashingGet up to $5,000 in cash using Smith’s Money Services card cashing. The fees for this service are the same as cashing a check and you can get the exact amount you need, down to the penny and cent. To make your trip to Smith’s even easier and faster, you can get up to $300 cash back in our regular checkout lanes while shopping for groceries for a $3 fee.
Money ordersBuy a money order worth up to $1,000 at your nearest Smith’s Money Services. Money orders can be used to pay for your rent, sending money through the mail or paying bills. Fees* start at just 69₵ when you have a Shopper’s Card. Send and pick up moneyTransfer money to friends and family in the US or further abroad with Smith’s Money Services. Thanks to Western Union, you can now sent to over 200 countries worldwide. Send money so that it arrives on the same day or the next day often saving on fees when sending the next day. You can also choose how it’s collected – whether in cash or sent into a bank account. You can also pick-up cash at Money Services sent to you from any Western Union agent location. Is a Smiths closing in Las Vegas?The Smith's Food and Drug store on Flamingo Road will close permanently Jan. 30. No other local closures are planned.
Is Smiths and Fred Meyer the same?In 1997, Fred Meyer acquired Smith's Food and Drug of Salt Lake City, though both companies maintained separate operations. The same year, Fred Meyer acquired Ralphs of Los Angeles, California, and QFC of Seattle. Both acquisitions also maintained separate operations with Fred Meyer as the holding company.
