The crankshaft position sensor of Your 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L is located below the front underside of Your vehicles engine. The crankshaft sensor should be situated inside the crankshaft itself, below the hood near the center. It is specifically located under the aft exhaust manifold where it is held with one screw or a bolt in some cases. You may need to replace it but it can be difficult to remove these screws.
