Instructions

1. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry open the key fob housing.
2. Once the housing separates, notice the battery on the back cover.
3. Pry the battery with the screwdriver.
4. Install the new battery with the positive side facing the back cover
5. Align the two housing halves and press them together.

To change the battery on this GMC key fob, you will need a CR2032 battery.

2. Pry the back cover from the key fob with your thumb.
3. Remove the old battery from the key fob.
4. Install the new battery with the positive side facing you.

To change the battery on this GMC key fob, you will need two CR2016 batteries and a flathead screwdriver.

1. Use a flathead screwdriver to open the key fob. You will notice a larger gap at the bottom of the key fob where the keyring goes. Use this gap to pry open the key fob.
2. Remove the batteries from the back cover. If needed, use the screwdriver to pry out the batteries.
3. Install the new batteries. Make sure the positive side of the new batteries is facing the back cover.
4. Align the two parts of the key fob and press them until they snap together.

To change the battery in this GMC key fob, you will need a CR2032 battery and a flathead screwdriver.
