Editing Credit Cards

You can edit your credit or debit card information or update the expiration date.

Edit Credit Card Information

Log in to your Amazon Payments account and click Edit My Account Settings.
Click Add, edit, or delete my credit cards to view your current credit card information.
Click the Edit button next to the credit card you want to edit to change the expiration date, name, or billing information associated with the card.
Click Confirm to complete the changes.

Note: To edit other information about the card, you must delete the credit card and add it again using the correct information.

Although you can edit your credit card information, it is not possible to edit your bank or building society account information. If you need to change your bank account information, you must first delete your existing bank account information, and then add a new bank account using the instructions for adding a new payment method, above. You must verify the bank or building society account as you did originally.

The Amazon.com Store Card works like any other credit card. That means you can make purchases on the card, and you can pay your balance either in full, or over time. The difference is that the Amazon.com Store Card can only be used to make purchases on Amazon.com and certain Amazon-affiliated markets.

Here’s how the Amazon.com Store Card works:

Earn rewards: This card offers $10 Amazon gift card upon approval . Plus, for Amazon Prime members, the Amazon.com Store Card will give 5% back in rewards cash back on Amazon.com purchases.
Redeem rewards: You can redeem your Amazon.com Store Card rewards either through your online account or from your Amazon account, depending on the redemption option. You can use your points as statement credits, or to make purchases on Amazon.com.
Card Acceptance: Keep in mind that the Amazon.com Store Card is only accepted on Amazon.com, Audible.com, merchant sites that accept Amazon Pay, and at some physical Amazon-branded stores, such as Amazon Books, Amazon 4-Star, and Amazon Go.
Thus, any cash back earned can only go toward past purchases made at those merchants (in the form of a statement credit), or be used directly for purchases on Amazon.com.
