Oculus link cable not connecting to pc

I just got my oculus quest 2 today but I have been having an issue when connecting it with link to my computer. I have the oculus app open on my computer and it says that it is connected but when I try to connect it to my headset it just says something along the lines of: Do you want to enable link (BETA)?
