Good luck, that should do it, I tried finding it in print again in SI, there's a typo in SI where it says to reset the change timing belt light you need to pull the fuse for 2 minutes but the funny part is that you find that in the transmission section... Totally screws with the search function, think I had to call tac with my first one.. Edited to add: Found this under ECM replacement.. Still don't have the car yet, but I did find this info following what you said. Alldata states IPC fuse is underhood and fuse 10. Mitchell shows this diagram[/quote] Thanks given by: How do I reset my transmission fluid? After turning on the car, you must shift through the automatic transmission gear at least two times. In manual cars, shifting between drive and reverse should occur three times. The gear shifting must continue for at least 10 miles, and automatically reset the transmission control module.
How many quarts of transmission fluid does a Chevy Captiva take?A 2012 Chevy Captiva Sport transmission flush again uses about 10 quarts of fluid to entirely clean and flush out the system.
How do you check the transmission fluid on a Captiva?Remove the dipstick, being careful not to spill or drip any fluid. Wipe off the dipstick with a clean rag, just as you would do when checking the engine oil. Reinsert the dipstick, then remove the dipstick again to check the fluid level. If you need to top it off, be sure to use the recommended transmission fluid.
